Role Description:
The Art & Art History Department in the College of Humanities & Fine Arts is collecting application materials for a Student Grader for Art History. Graders will assist Professor of Art History Asa Mittman with reviewing instructional materials, providing support and feedback to students and suggesting grades for individual assignments. This position requires academic experience in art history, strong written grammar, collaboration and communication skills, dependability and integrity.
Description of Duties:
-Review instructional materials
-Answer student questions
-Provide support and feedback on student writing
-Grade (or suggest grades on) student assignments
The student will work approximately 4 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
-Experience in art history course
-Preference given to art history majors and minors (is this allowed?)
-Strong written grammar in standard academic English
-Dependable communication over email
-Willingness to collaborate with instructor and potentially another ISA
