Role Description:

Role Description:     

The CAGD Program is accepting applications for our Student Assistant position. The student assistant will work directly with the Chair and department ASC to promote CAGD's events, student work, and collaborative opportunities. 

Description of Duties: 

  • Creating scheduled social media posts and assembling posters from provided templates. Creativity welcome!
  • Representing CAGD at various events.
  • Setting up and tearing down CAGD events.
  • Working on iterative projects under tight deadlines. Deadlines will be communicated proactively.
  • Communicating with the supervisor about task progress, work completed, and hours logged on a weekly basis.
  • Work schedules are flexible and hours can range between 1 - 10 per week, on average, 3 hours. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • must be a current Chico State student with on-campus work study. 
  • must have taken at least one CAGD course.
  • no prior experience or skills needed
  • on-the-job training provided

Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

All work must be performed within the State of California.

Education Code 89521 Requirements: Applicants will be required to disclose whether they have received a final administrative decision or final judicial decision determining that they have committed sexual harassment within the last 7 years only after a determination is made that they meet the minimum qualifications for the position, and before an offer of employment is extended.
