Role Description:

The Computer Science Department in the College of ECC is collecting application materials for a Research Assistant for software development and refactoring of an existing TensorFlow Machine Learning code base used for spectrogram acoustic analysis. 

Description of Duties:

This position will offer approximately 10 hours per week with a maximum of 100 hours for the summer. 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Qualified students should have Computer Science graduate standing and/or have completed CSCI 581 and/or CSCI 611 or CSCI 612.
  • Prior research experience or interest in pursuing research
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
