| Role Description: |
The Chemistry Department in the College of Natural Sciences is collecting application materials for Chemistry Stockroom Student Assistants.
Description of Duties: (3-6 hours/week)
The Chemistry Stockroom Student Assistant's role is to assist the Stockroom Technicians by performing duties under general supervision that may include:
Assisting with checkout of lab equipment to students and faculty Cleaning and organizing glassware, equipment, and the stockroom Cleaning and setting up lab rooms Preparing and trouble-shooting equipment for laboratory use Preparing chemical solutions Using mathematical and scientific equations when appropriate for laboratory settings
Minimum Qualifications: Must be a student at CSU, Chico enrolled in a minimum of 6 units. Hours will be assigned according to availability and stockroom needs.
Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
Completion of Chem 107, 108, or 111 with a B- or better or current enrollment in Chem 107, 108, or 111 with an expected grade of B- or better.

All work must be performed within the State of California.
