Role Description:

Description of Duties:

  • Our goals every year are to inventory all old, new uniforms, supplies and equipment.
  • Clean men & women and lockers locker’s, change combinations, and (repair any damaged lockers as best we can)
  • Prepare for our athletes and teams to return, upcoming practice in season (xc, soccer and volleyball)
  • Continue to collect all uniforms from this spring & summer 2025
  • Scrub and wash uniforms right
  • Put away past season uniforms and equipment (softball, baseball, and track and field)
  • Inventory all uniforms on computer, paper, and file folders
  • Connect with ITSS with updating our computers or getting maintenance
  • Order supplies and inventory with staff
  • Fold and put away uniforms professionally and by teams
  • Consistently restructure women and men’s equipment rooms
  • Clean and reconstruct all athletic closets
  • Reorganize under our storage closet in Acker gym
  • Clean and retrieve all travel bags/backpacks to be issued out to athletes and store them away
  • Check rims, backboards pads and bolts
  • Set appointments with our coaches throughout the course of our competition year and wait for them to return.
  • Get rid of hazardous waste inside of our equipment safely with EHS
  • Starting our campus training by mid-summer if possible
  • Always be mindful of our online training throughout the fiscal year
  • Get rid of our inventory all old electrical equipment properly
  • Stay connected with FMS movers to get rid of old, damaged equipment and them prepared for upcoming year
  • Stay in contact with our front office and coaches to go over other things they have in mind
  • Dust and recycle
  • Send inventory lists to all of our coaches
  • Most of all ensure that all items are kept organized and secured from damage or theft
  • Fix minor repairs inside of both Eq. rooms
  • Stay in full contact with outside venders
  • Keep staff in the loop with venders, quotes and visitations
  • Change nets by the end of the summer and our entire fiscal year
  • The times are acceptable to change weekly
  • Clean women and men’s lockers, change combinations, and repair any damaged lockers
  • Hang all washed uniforms, but things may change
  • Pack all travel for road trips
  • Issue out/collect travel bags, but have a pickup plan coordinated with coaches
  • Set up and break down all home games
  • Have compete communications lines open the front office in case of any changes in athletic events
  • Assist any administrators, coaches and athletes at any given times
  • Make sure Acker gym bleachers are completely functioning
  • Coordinate with staff on getting things to repair (uniforms, electronic and industrial equipment) and new advice.
  • Have our student/workers stay in the loop with staff on work status
  • Coordinate with trainers, strength condition coaches and sport information staff on anything they need done or want to get rid of
  • Make sure the students/workers are on the same page with every event
  • Wash, soak, heavy duty scrub and hang dry uniforms correctly
  • Get rid of hazardous waste inside of our equipment effectively and safely
  • Dust the award cabinets, locate game and practice equipment 
  • Most of all, ensure that all items are kept organized and secured from damage or theft
  • Safety, clean and functional

Additional Information:

All work must be performed within the State of California.

Compliance training completion (approx. 4 hours of work time) is required of this position within the first 30 days of work.

The person holding this position is not considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
