Role Description:

Hub Staff are student employees within University Housing who help create a welcoming and engaging campus experience by supporting The Hub spaces and events.

Time Commitment

  • Average of 15 hours per week while classes are in session
  • Up to 35 hours per week during required training periods
  • Commitment runs August 6, 2026 through May 26, 2027
  • Evening availability and Tuesday night team meetings required

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff the Hub desk and engage with students
  • Assist with planning and hosting Hub events
  • Help promote events through outreach and tabling
  • Support large-scale Housing and campus events
  • Collaborate with the Residence Life team and serve on committees

Requirements

  • Full-time enrolled student in good academic and conduct standing
  • Minimum 2.0 GPA
  • Ability to commit for the full academic year
  • Completion of required trainings and background check

Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

Additional Information:

All work must be performed within the State of California.

Compliance training completion (approx. 4 hours of work time) is required of this position within the first 30 days of work.
