| Role Description: |
As Editorial Assistant, the student will provide technical assistance, logistical support and intellectual contributions to editorial projects carried out at the CSU, Chico LEAP Lab. Total 6-10 hours per week.
The LEAP Lab, located in the Arts & Humanities Building, supports the production and workings of Flume Press, CSU, Chico’s chapbook press, and Watershed Review, CSU, Chico’s digital magazine.
Tasks:
- Run the social media sites for Watershed Review and Flume Press
- Website management
- Regular communications with contributors and press authors
- Weekly meetings with Managing Editor
- Design and promotion for publishing projects
- Additional duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be in the process of completing the Literary Editing and Publishing (LEAP) certificate
- Good communication and organization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Willingness to learn new programs and editing modalities
- Dependability
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

Additional Information:
All work must be performed within the State of California.
Compliance training completion (approx. 4 hours of work time) is required of this position within the first 30 days of work.
