| Role Description: |
Seeking a motivated Student Assistant to support our telecommunications team with general upkeep and cabling installation. This role is ideal for students interested in hands-on technical experience while building organizational and computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work up to 20 hours a week.
- Perform upkeep of telecommunications rooms and equipment supported by the department.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas.
- Assist with pulling, routing, terminating, and labeling network cables.
- Enter and update detailed records using Microsoft Excel.
- Support inventory tracking and other duties as assigned.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

Additional Information:
All work must be performed within the State of California.
Compliance training completion (approx. 4 hours of work time) is required of this position within the first 30 days of work.
