Role Description: |
Description of Duties:
Front-line support at the desk, on the phone, and online for IT issues and requests
• Issue, troubleshoot, and replace Wildcat ID cards
• Provide Tier 2 troubleshooting for more complex service desk requests
• Document and track issues in the ticketing system and escalate when necessary
• Guide campus users to the right tools, services, or knowledge resources
• Create a welcoming and helpful experience for a diverse community
Minimum Qualifications:
Available to work 12–20 hours per week
• Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn new technology
• Dependable, detail-oriented, and organized
• Comfortable explaining technology in clear, simple terms
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.

Additional Information:
All work must be performed within the State of California.
Compliance training completion (approx. 4 hours of work time) is required of this position within the first 30 days of work.
The person holding this position is not considered a ‘mandated reporter’ under the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act and is required to comply with the requirements set forth in CSU Executive Order 1083 as a condition of employment.
