Role Description:
The MGMT, MKTG, & ISFA Department in the College of Business is collecting application materials for Instructional Student Assistants. Instructional Student Assistants (ISA’s) are expected to perform instruction-related and/or research-related tasks as assigned by their supervising faculty throughout the duration of a semester. Under general supervision, the Instructional Student Assistant (ISA) for the College of Business performs grading, tutoring, proctoring exams, provides teaching assistance, and assists with research or other instructional related duties as assigned by their supervising faculty when appropriate. Approximately 5 hours per week of work. ISAs are compensated on a per-hour basis.
Minimum Qualifications:
Instructional Student Assistants must have the following knowledge and abilities: Ability to learn and perform assigned work; work cooperatively with faculty, staff and other students; accept responsibility; work with minimal supervision; accurately evaluate and return assignments in a timely manner; must submit their work timesheet approved by their supervisor in a timely manner; completion of specific coursework may be required in order to teach, grade or tutor a course.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
