Role Description:

The Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for the Instructional Student Assistant (ISA)—Political Science and Criminal Justice Methods Courses

Description of Duties:

Under supervision, the student assistant performs teaching, grading, and/or tutoring duties for Public Administration required courses (e.g., PADM 260: Intro to Public Admin & POLS 402: State & Local Government) in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice. 3-5 hours per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

The Instructional Student Assistant)—Political Science and Criminal Justice Methods Courses may be an advanced undergraduate student (Junior or Senior with good academic record) or graduate student and have the following knowledge and abilities:

 - Ability to learn and perform assigned work

 - Work cooperatively with faculty, staff and other students; accept responsibility

 - Work with minimal supervision

 - Accurately evaluate and return assignments in a timely manner
