Position Title: Instructional Student Assistant and Peer Mentor for Game Changers Program

Role Description:
The Political Science and Criminal Justice Department in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for Instructional Student Assistants who will serve as Peer Mentors for the Game Changers Student Success Program.
Description of Duties (Mentor responsibilities are determined by the professor of each course) include the following:
- Attending mentor training on August 19th, from 12:30-5:00pm in Colusa Hall.
- Attending class periods each week.
- Weekly student hours.
- Overall guidance on aspects of collegiate experience (i.e. student support programs, financial aid, etc.).
- Grading/tutoring as needed by the professor of each course.
- Approximately five (5) hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
Ideally, mentors will be starting their final year at Chico State and will have successfully completed the classes for which they are serving as mentors.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
