Position Title: Instructional Student Assistant (ISA)—Political Science and Criminal Justice Methods Courses

Role Description:
The Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice in the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences is collecting application materials for the Instructional Student Assistant (ISA)—Political Science and Criminal Justice Methods Courses.
Description of Duties:
Under supervision, the student assistant performs teaching, grading, and/or tutoring duties for research methods courses in the Department of Political Science and Criminal Justice. 3-5 hours per week.
Minimum Qualifications:
The Instructional Student Assistant)—Political Science and Criminal Justice Methods Courses must be a current graduate student and have the following knowledge and abilities:
- Ability to learn and perform assigned work
- Work cooperatively with faculty, staff and other students
- Accept responsibility
- Work with minimal supervision
- Accurately evaluate and return assignments in a timely manner.
- Completed both undergraduate and graduate coursework in quantitative social science methods and have a working knowledge of RStudio Cloud.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
