Role Description:

The Construction Management Department in the College of Engineering, Computer Science, and Construction Management is collecting application materials for Instructional Student Assistants to aide faculty in grading assignments for classes.

Description of Duties:

Duties may include the following, but will be dependent upon the specific course to which the instructional student assistant will be assigned, as well as upon the specific needs of the faculty member in charge of the course:

  • Provide instructional support to assigned instructor in the Construction Management department in a variety of courses.
  • Aide in preparation of course activity or laboratory course.
  • Attend activity or laboratory course to help students under faculty supervision.
  • Evaluate and grade student papers, assignments and assessments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Chair in consultation with an appropriate faculty member.

Students can expect to work 8-15 hours per week, but this may vary depending on need, number of sections and week of semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Students must be Construction Management majors, or students within College of Engineering, Computer Science and Construction Management, in good standing.

Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
