The Kinesiology Department in the College of Communication and Education is collecting application materials for a Student Assistant for the main office
This job will entail working in the Kinesiology department office AND the Kinesiology equipment room 10-15 hours per week, only work-study applicants please.
Kinesiology Department duties include: general reception duties, greeting guests, answering phones, maintaining email account, providing information to the campus community and general public. Additional Clerical tasks: copying, preparing emails, data entry, work in Microsoft Office programs, creating posters and flyers, updating bulletin boards and displays, posting on department social media, completing assigned tasks connected to campus software systems, running on-campus errands, organizing office space. Additional Duties or Job Requirements: some moderate lifting, light cleaning, special projects for faculty as needed, and other duties as necessary.
Equipment room duties include: light cleaning in kinesiology spaces and of equipment, assisting with periodic inventory, and maintaining stock of equipment.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
