Role Description:
The Department of Public Health & Health Services Administration in the College of Behavioral & Social Sciences is collecting application materials for an instructional student assistant, who will evaluate student assignments and discussion posts, and maintain participation and/or attendance records in PHHA 370, Drugs in Our Society, PHHA 265 Human Sexuality and other PHHA courses as needed. This position is expected to work up to 10 hours per week, with an average of 5-6.
Description of Duties:
Under the supervision of the relevant professor, the instructional student assistant will proctor examinations, evaluate student assignments and discussion posts, and maintain participation and/or attendance records in PHHA 370, Drugs in Our Society, PHHA 265 Human Sexuality and other PHHA courses as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
Instructional Student Assistants must have the following knowledge and abilities: Ability to learn and perform assigned work; work cooperatively with faculty, staff and other students; accept responsibility; work with minimal supervision; accurately evaluate and return assignments in a timely manner.
Exceptions to the minimum eligibility qualifications may be granted at the sole discretion of the University.
