26-27 Kinesiology Peer Tutor (ISA) Chico
The Kinesiology Department in the College of Communication and Education is collecting application materials for Peer Tutors for KINE 322, KINE 323, and KINE 480. Students who have successfully completed KINE 322: Biomechanics, KINE 323: Exercise Physiology, or KINE 480: Exercise Testing and Prescription will work for the Kinesiology Department as a peer tutor for undergraduate students. You will be scheduled to work 2-8 hours per week depending on availability and department need. Students will arrive to tutoring sessions with their course materials and questions, and you will assist them with lecture and lab material, in addition to providing an opportunity to practice lab skills. You are not expected to replace an instructor, rather you will help students as they work through challenging material.

Positions include Math Learning Lab Tutors (providing tutoring and academic support in the Math Learning Lab), Embedded Math Tutors (supporting student learning in coordination with course instructors), and Math Course Graders (grading coursework under faculty guidance).
