Advising Intern Trainee

| The advising internship is a fast-paced work environment where you will receive the opportunity to make a difference every day. The mission of advising is to provide an integrated array of effective academic advising services, resources, and planning tools for students. We are also committed to our advising interns' professional development, providing the support and guidance they need to excel in their roles.
Advising interns must be available to work for a minimum of 12 hours during:
• Occasional evenings and/or weekends during peak traffic and special events
• Monday through Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm (school year)
• Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am-5:30 pm (summer)
Selected candidates will begin work as Advising Intern Trainees and will complete formal training in January 2027. Trainees who complete training and demonstrate competency in the role will transition to an Advising Intern position in the spring term. Advising Intern Trainees who do not complete training and/or are unable to demonstrate competence in a reasonable timeframe will be released from the position. |
